LBKA Market Rasen Branch Membership Renewal

Membership renewals are due again. The good news is that there are no price increases but members at the Jan 2023 AGM agreed to reinstate the District Fee of £3.50 this year. This helps to pay for the Hall booking fees but there will remain no charge for hot drinks

I should remind you again, that if you do not renew before 1st January 2024 your BDI insurance will lapse and will not be reinstated until 40 days after you renew. You could be left with no insurance for those 40 days. This is a BDI rule.

Membership renewal is due by 31st December 2023 and with the dreaded £10 extra if you go beyond Feb 2024 meeting, I’ll be sending out “threatening letters “to those who have still not paid by the New Year.

The Lincs. Beekeepers’ Association Central Council has published a 2023/24 Directory of Members. These will be available for collection at District meetings or if you opt for posting a £1 charge should be added to your membership fees.

A reminder that the first meeting will be on Thursday 5th October 2023 at 7:30pm.

More details of meetings and the January 2024 AGM will be available later but, the committee would ask members to consider whether they could help with the running of District activities next year and perhaps work on the Committee.
